Yahoo recently owned Tumblr, also made some huge changes to their interface and storage for free users upto 1 Terabyte. Flickr dropping Pro accounts for new users. Old existing users still recur the account and use all the features like statics and other details.

New Flickr allows to upload 200MB photos and high-resolution images to their free user accounts with new possibilities to create collections, post upto 60 group pools. The flickr community completely rebuilt the photo-stream to show off your photos in a seamless layout, and gave you room to express yourself with a customization for cover photo and high-res profile picture.

Charis Tsevis’s Created Flickr 2013 Buddy Icons

Charis Tsevis is known for his great colorful mosaic illustrations and vector works. Flickr has decided to replace the default avatar used for new accounts. The old avatar (aka “Howdy”) is retiring, and will be replaced with more vibrant options.
He tell us how he created and concept. The new avatars had to reflect several key aspects of the Flickr products and community:
• Flickr is photo / photography centric
• Colorful – include the use of our brand colors
• Individual / personal
