Dito Von Tease is a Italin artist, who created this unique Thumb finger print of famous people around the world like Steve Jobs, Dalai Lama and other celebrities from creative field.
He got these ideas while creating his social network account like Facebook and to hide his identity from the relatives and not so close friends. The artist has used his finger, creativity and photoshop to express, how the celebrities hide their identity – of course due to popularity. The word Ditology was translated from famous Italian proverb (“nascondermi dietro un dito”). The meaning the word is to “hide behind your fingers” or say “bourlesque” style and expert in disguises.
The characters he choosed for portraits are taken from news, historic events, arts, politics and he ask us he used an index-finger, showing and questioning us for a reflection about our own identity.
