Using Photoshop free plugin or premium plugins, you can Create Kaleidoscope Art or abstract wallpapers for iPad. Even you can do this within a minute(coffee break).

We usually found our inspiration and creativity from our childhood and bring it here. Kaleidoscope is made of stained broken glasses or colorful glasses in a cylindrical tube or with mirrors containing loose, colored objects such as beads or pebbles and bits of glass. You can create with colorful papers which allows the light source to penetrate the subject.

Using Photoshop Plugin to Create Kaleidoscope Art

Here is the [how-to] guide for creating kaleidoscope abstract designs easily. Mehdi plugins started from 2004 and they we well know for their free Photoshop CS6 plugins. Remember only 32 bit will support as of now. They are working on it and more than 20 free plugins are available in their site, so you can donate them – if you feel generously for their hard work.

Download the free Kaleidoscope 2.1 and upload to the preset of Photoshop folder. Open your Photoshop any version you have and choose your image.

Choose the kaleidoscope from filter menu.

Again try another value of your choice – remember the design vary depend on your images you use.

There are three main settings you can choose from:
Mirror: traditional effect. Consecutive sectors are symmetric.
Copy: takes a sector and repeat it. Transition between consecutive sectors are anti-aliased.
Blend: turn the complete image, several times; and realize a blend.

For the above settings, we have used more stock images from 123RF – premium stock image websites.
